Accept the call for you are chosen

Hadassah woke every morning before the sun shown through her window.  This time was her appointment with God she went to her secret place and wrote to her heavenly Father, her best friend her confidant.

This morning was particularly special, she was about to make a giant step and wanted to follow his lead.

Dear Father of heaven and earth,

You placed me here O’ God.  I feel your Heavenly Spirit pulling at my heart.  Lead me in your direction as I am faithful to do your will.  Continue to guide me, open the way so clearly that I might see your light shining before I enter.  Block the road that may lead to destruction so that I won’t be tempted to walk the wrong path.

Fill my heart with gladness and restore my thoughts of any hesitation to hearing your voice.  Rejoice over me this morning I am your obedient daughter who serves the most-high God, Lord you are my King.

Prepare me Lord as I obey the decree set from our earthly King Xerxes.  I know you direct his steps and I will follow after you.  I am anxious and afraid of the unknown.  Father, cover me with peace and comfort.

Blessings to my dear cousin Mordecai he has always been like a father to me ever since my parents died, he raised me as his own.  He has been so wonderful to me, he loves me like a daughter and I love him more then I can express.  Lord shower Mordecai with double portions of favor while I am away.  Keep him under your wing of protection.  Guide him in every direction.

I feel your spirit all around me.  My heart is warm and happy with anticipation of what you are doing at this very moment.  It’s overwhelming!  I praise you that you always hear me when I call and you always answer me.

Thank you, Lord that I may serve you with my whole heart.  I accept your call on my life. I am ready Lord….send me.

How did it all come about?

Most of us define a cowgirl as a horseback riding lady with fancy sparkles on her hat and matching bolo, riding as “cowgirls” in Wild West Shows and rodeos.   The ladies are skilled performers, demonstrating riding, expert marksmanship, and trick roping while entertaining audiences around the world, such as Annie Oakley whom in my eyes is a hero.

My cowgirl warrior is a woman in the west who worked on cattle ranches.  Women ran them while the men went to war or on long cattle drives.  Wives and daughters of men who owned small ranches could not afford to hire men so they had to do the hard work.  They needed to ride horses and be able to perform tasks what you and I would agree was a man’s job. Keep in mind, these women also planted their own gardens, hunted, cooked, sewed their own clothes and many of them gave birth on their own, then had to get up and stoke the fire and feed the children and teach school and about living a life trusting in God.
These women were strong and able to take on anything.  They needed the hand of God, his direction and covering to able them to perform the necessary tasks of everyday life.  Sometimes God was the only strength they had and they trusted in him, “It’s the cowgirl way”.

Years ago, I was visiting my family in Montana.  We went to The Cowboy Church in Kalispell.  That night a woman teacher at the church was giving a message about relying on the strength of God not our own during times of trouble. During her message she gave an example of a woman who was trusting in God. She smiled and said “It’s the cowgirl way”.  Instantly the Holy Spirit hovered over me and begin speaking and showing me visions of ministering to women in the Flathead Valley.  That night he gave me an outline of topics to teach and an acronym for “cowgirl”.

A cowgirl is:
Called ~ many are called but few are chosen
Obedient ~ Jesus is master of my life
Warrior ~ Divine wisdom of the Holy Spirit the ability to discern right from wrong
Grace ~ God’s free and unmerited favor
Inherited ~ Identified by Christ, receive a legacy or promise; possession as a rightful heir
Redeemed ~ refined replica of the most high God
Loved ~ God’s ultimate expression of loyalty, purity, and mercy

The Lord continued to birth His vision in me for hours, weeks and years.  I would write and listen as he excited me with the thought of a ministry for women called “It’s the cowgirl way”. Just one problem…. I lived in the Bay Area of California and had no thoughts of moving to Montana.  As the years progressed I wrote notes and heard him directing me to study women of the Bible who trusted in God with all there heart and soul.

Less then five years later, here I am living in Montana and He is racing through my head at all hours of the day and night feeding me about women and the need to minister his strength to them.

Stay tuned..... Esther will tell us a story about being called and chosen.

One

***Take One day at a time...... One foot on the step-stepping stone to lift ones heart..., One thought is sufficient 4 peace,...... One of many kisses for the face will do... One spoken sentence  "I love U" can release the song...One model of light can make darkness flee,.. One pat on the shoulder will add courage to another,One moment of "united we stand"...can establish wonders again & again...One look upwards...will remind us..."In God we trust" while one...more kiss,..still says there is room for one more......(hugs/kisses) xoxoxoxoxoxoo

Grace ~ Have favor on me O'God

Do I deserve it?

Can I earn it?

Grace: Theology

  • Freely given, unmerited favor and love of God.
  • The influence or spirit of God operating in humans to regenerate or strengthen them.
  • A virtue or excellence of divine origin: the Christian graces.
  • Also called state of grace.
    • The condition of being in God's favor or one of the elect.
No, I can only accept it.

God showers us with his Grace and by faith we can receive it.

Hebrews 11:6 (New Living Translation)

it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.

Faith:

Confidence or trust in a person or thing
Belief that is not based on proof: He had faith in God, Father of creation.

 Rewards:

Something given or received in return for service, merit, hardship, etc.

Seek:  Sincerely with all your heart

To go in search or quest of: to seek the truth.
To try to find or discover by searching or questioning
To try to obtain
To go to: to seek a place to rest.

It’s that simple….have faith, sincerely seek Him and he will reward me!

·         Write your statement of faith today_________________________
·         Sincerely seek Him by setting an appointment to meet with him, read your Bible and pray and ask God to rain favor over your life, your family and those around you.
·         Open your hands and receive the amazing promises and gifts He has for you.

Read Romans 8:31-39 slowly and praise God for choosing you.

(New Living Translation)

Nothing Can Separate Us from God’s Love
31 What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us? 32 Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else? 33 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us right standing with himself. 34 Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.
35 Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? 36 (As the Scriptures say, “For your sake we are killed every day; we are being slaughtered like sheep.”[a]) 37 No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
38 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Sing Amazing Grace and draw near to Him who loves you.
Amazing Grace Lyrics by John Newton

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.

T'was Grace that taught...
my heart to fear.
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that Grace appear...
the hour I first believed.

Through many dangers, toils and snares...
we have already come.
T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far...
and Grace will lead us home.

The Lord has promised good to me...
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be...
as long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
and mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess within the veil,
a life of joy and peace.
When we've been here ten thousand years...
bright shining as the sun.
We've no less days to sing God's praise...
then when we've first begun.

"Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me....
I once was lost but now am found,
Was blind, but now, I see.

You are my hiding place

You are my hiding place,
You always fill my heart with songs of deliverance.
Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.
I will trust in You.
Let the weak say I am strong in the strength of my Lord.

Psalm 32:7 (NIV)

7 You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.
Selah

Thank you that you are my covering and you go before me in times of trouble.  You carry me when I am tired and make a way when there seems to be no way.

Today I was asked by the Northern Solano Association of Realtors to share my passion

What an honor it is to be invited to share my passion for women in need.

I am blessed to serve as the director of Hearts On Fire Women’s Ministries. Empowering all women who have been broken by everyday occurrences in our world. Offering encouragement and showing love. Our purpose is to enlightened women with a new hope. Equipped with new self worth, allowing her to be transformed. A new creation and the women God called her to be.

Proverbs 31:25 (New Century Version)

She is strong and is respected by the people.
She looks forward to the future with joy.

I serve as a teacher and spiritual mentor to a wonderful group of 12 women every Thursday evening for the past 9 years. Each year I direct a women's conference called Heart B.E.A.T. (Broken, Enlightened and Transformed). We sponsor ladies to come from drug and abuse programs. It is amazing how lives are changed when you just give a little. That was our motto when we put change jars out and asked for change to change a life.

Over the years I have had the privileged of serving in the Philippines and Africa to minister and encourage women.

I look forward to more divine assignments.

A Cowgirl is passionate.....

I love my Amazing Father in Heaven.  He teaches me everyday how to love more and more.  I can't stop thinking about him.  He's the perfect friend.  He hangs out with me all day.  I talk to him about what's going on.  I ask him to show me what he wants from me and I tell him what I think.  It's so wonderful that no matter where I am, or what time of day it is.  He is there and I am never left alone.

Psalm 37:23 NLT

The steps of the godly are directed by the LORD.  He delights in every detail of their lives.

Father God you are amazing and you know exactly my needs.  You hold me in the palm of your hand and you always cover me.  I love that I don't ever have to look for you.  I worship you with praise and adoration for who you are in my life.  I need more of you.  Let me be a vessel.  Pour me out over your chosen, use me supernaturally to heal wounds that have been forgotten.  Go deep Lord!  Send me long into the field  I will run to the mark and I will be open. I will turn and reach up with open arms to catch what you will pass.  With all my strength I will deliver what you entrust in me.
